The problem
A chat log is a pile, not a place.
Three things go wrong with a chatbot the moment you use one to actually learn something.

Ask again, answered again. The same question in a new chat gets a fresh answer, with no memory that you already asked it.

Follow-ups fork. A clarifying question opens another chat instead of improving the answer you were reading.

Nothing is related to anything. There is no organisation, so two chats on the same subject sit in a list with no sign that they belong together.
How it works
It decides where something goes before it writes it.
It reads the tree first
Before generating anything, FliTree looks at the directory structure you already have and decides where the new material should go. Nothing lands loose.
It sizes the question, then outlines
It checks the scope of what you asked. A question that needs a whole subject behind it gets an outline — parent topics, subtopics, in the order that teaches it completely — rather than one answer that stops where the prompt did.
Follow-ups edit, they don't fork
Ask a follow-up and it changes the content in place. The page you were reading gets better. You do not end up with a second chat that half-repeats the first.
Pages get written when you ask for them
The outline can run ahead of the prose. A topic can sit in the tree as a name you have not opened yet, and stay that way until you want it.
